It is from the real story of the French high-wire artiste Philippe Petit's that walk in between the World Trade Center Twin Towers on August 7, 1974.
Philippe Petit was born on August 13, 1949. He is a high-wire French artists who achieved popularity for his high-wire stride in between New York City World Trade Center Twin Towers on the sunrise of August, 1974. For his illegal above the ground, he rigged a 200-kilogram cable and uses a custom-made 8-metre long balancing pole. For 45 minutes, he walked in the high wire and makes 8 passes through it. The following week, he enjoyed his 25th birthday. All alleged were cancelled in replace for his performance at the Central Park for the kids.

Philippe Petit, the French street performer was before making a living in Paris by wire walking and juggling acts in 1973 and also much to embarrass his father. During a performance, he consumed a hard sweet that was handed out to him by a viewer member and damaged his tooth. He goes to the dentist and, while waiting, views a photo in a magazine of the New York City Twin Tower. He studies the picture and settles on making this his mission to walk and balance a tightrope in between the 2 buildings. Temporarily, he was expelled from his parents' home by his father, emphasizing his lack of sources and the thought that he was a street artist. Philippe goes back to the circus that motivated him to a wire walk when he was a kid and rehearsed on the huge top after hours, but was seen by Papa Rudy, and whom he amazed with his management skills. While presenting one day, Philippe encounter an adorable lady and fellow road performer Annie, and they started a romantic relationship. After Philippe failing his initial true performance by dropping into the lake, Philippe chose and tried to walk on the Cathedral of Notre Dame in Paris to release himself. It was a success with the help of Jean-Louis but he was detained in the procedures. Jean-Louis presented Jeff, one more accomplice who has the fear of heights, to Annie and Philippe, while telling his thoughts of using an arrow tied and a bow to a fishing line to take the cable crossways the Towers. Annie and Philippe then take their trip to America, arranging the date of the walk on August 6 of 1974. Philippe dressed in a cover up to be a detective with the construction squad and survey the locations. At a point, he meets Barry Greenhouse whom reveals he was a fan of Philippe and he became another member of the Philippe's squad. They also encounter electronics salesman and French-speaking J.P. and his buddy, Albert, an amateur photographer, and the stoner David. The gang goes on with the plan many times, and ending with the idea that Philippe should be on the wire just before the construction team arrives at 7:00 in the morning.

The Walk movie is really a masterpiece. It is a totally immersive and realistic cinema experience. Director Zemeckis has done his job wonderfully in making the real events of Petit's living. Starting from the beginning up to the end of the movie, the 3D handed out mutual immense depth and numerous eye-popping instances. The cinematography is also wonderful. Both New York City and Paris in year 1970 have been played beautifully. When Petit finally take the climactic walk in between the WTC Twin Towers, the 3D certainly adds to the excitement of the happenings. If you have also the fear of heights or even if not; you will still be on the border of your bench, as Philippe embarks on the most hazardous feats ever tried in mankind history. You will be praying against hope that Philippe victoriously completes his life challenging walk. Gordon-Levitt is as outstanding like Philippe Petit. The reality that Gordon-Levitt gets the skill on the art of walking at tightrope and speaking in authentic French accent is really laudable. Philippe personally taught Gordon-Levitt about the proper and how to walk on the wire. He positively expected that the actor can walk on the wire after an 8 days workshop and the actor make it.  Charlotte Le Bon is also as great as Annie and the rest of the cast was really as good as the person they are performing. Really, The Walk film is a must watch.
