Among the reviews of the film from British, The Guardian recorded Michael Grandage's debut movie on Thomas Wolfe and with his literary writer-editor Maxwell Perkins, who is over acting, over-stylized and was lacking in details, while The Independent recorded that the acting together with the script of John Logan belongs to the big screen. Meanwhile in the Daily Telegraph, had to say this about the movie: "All the loud trumpets and the martinis director may fling us as flashy background don't keep the movie from being totally unappealingly lit really—full of dull, grey interiors, it's in the middle to monochrome.

The Writers’ View:
This was a moving and a very thoughtful movie, seamlessly directed and made with divine ability. The narration was so trans-influential that viewers can leave the theater until every credit ends and the final note sounded. Colin Firth was in perfection, while Jude Law role from the southern side was a time of defy but I was over it and release along for the dazzling ride. It is enjoyable to see Laura Linney and Nicole Kidman in every scenery provided award winning accomplishments and I know that others will agree with nominations. This is a recommended movie for everyone and it is a top rated in every aspect on it, like their mood, music and watching this movie is really an experience.
